Make a date with your number plate

It’s time to check your number plate and pay some attention to how it may be travelling.

You may have a registered personalised plate to accessorise your vehicle or enjoy simplicity with a standard issue registered plate.

All front and rear number plates need to be checked to ensure they are secure and do not fall off, or become an easy target for thieves.

To assist with preventing future thefts, vehicle owners are encouraged to visit local auto or warehouse retailers to purchase anti-theft locking nuts or number plate screws.

A variety of anti-theft locking screws are available from the Bundaberg Police Station during business hours.

  • Between 12.30am on December 10 and 2pm on December 11, Queensland registration plates 928MVN were stolen from a vehicle parked in Electra Street, Bundaberg West. QP2102297705 refers.
  • On December 11, Queensland registration plate 345CQ9 was stolen from the front of a vehicle parked in Moore Park Road, Gooburrum. QP2102297714 refers.
  • On December 11, Queensland registration plates 246BP6 were stolen from a vehicle parked in Enterprise Street, Svensson Heights. QP2102307048 refers.
