Following on from yesterdays invitation to have your say, perhaps these results may prompt you to complete the Transport and Main Roads drink driving discussion paper.
Since January 1, officers across Bundaberg Patrol Group have intercepted more than 30 motorists in relation to various drink driving offences.
These offences involved:
Drink driving 0.05 to 0.10 per cent BAC:
- 18 to 25-years-old: 2
- 25 to 35-years-old: 4
- 35 to 45-years-old: 4
- 45 to 55-years-old: 5
- 55-years-old: 2
- Men: 11
- Women: 6
- Total: 17
Drink driving 0.10 and under 0.15 per cent BAC:
- 18 to 25-years-old: 0
- 25 to 35-years-old: 4
- 35 to 45-years-old: 2
- 45 to 55-years-old: 2
- 55-years-old: 1
- Men: 9
- Women: 0
- Total: 9
Driving driving 0.15 per cent BAC and over (includes under the influence of drugs):
- 18 to 25-years-old: 0
- 25 to 35-years-old: 3
- 35 to 45-years-old: 0
- 45 to 55-years-old: 0
- 55-years-old:
- Men: 3
- Women: 0
- Total: 3
Drink driving due to failing to provide specimen of breath or blood:
- 18 to 25-years-old: 0
- 25 to 35-years-old: 1
- 35 to 45-years-old: 0
- 45 to 55-years-old: 0
- 55-years-old: 0

Type 2c drink driving 0.15 per cent BAC and over:
- 18 to 25-years-old: 1
