Child Protection Investigation Unit

  • On February 15, police have charged a 13-year-old Avenell Heights boy with possess dangerous drugs, enter premises, attempted unlawful use of motor vehicle, stealing and enter dwelling offences. The offences relate to a number of incidents which allegedly occurred between February 12 and February 15.
  • On February 15, police have charged a 15-year-old Avenell Heights boy with enter premises, attempted unlawful use of motor vehicle, stealing and enter dwelling offences. The offences relate to a number of incidents which allegedly occurred between February 12 and February 15.
  • On February 14, a 67-year-old Bundaberg West man was charged with seven counts of possessing child exploitation material and four counts of use a carriage service to transmit, make available, publish, distribute, advertise or promote child pornography material. The man is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 3.

Criminal Investigation Branch

  • On February 14, police have charged a 26-year-old Bundaberg South woman with five counts of fraud and one count of receiving tainted property. The woman is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 3.
  • On February 14, police have charged a 25-year-old Bundaberg South man and a 17-year-old Bundaberg North man with one count each of burglary and enter dwelling with intent. Both men are scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 24 and February 20 respectively.
