Police from Bundaberg attended the driver reviver site at Gin Gin this morning to assist the Lions Club volunteers, as well as speak with drivers regarding road safety.

Police obtained 20 pledges from motorists stating that they will say no to the Fatal Five:

  • Speeding
  • Fatigue
  • Drink driving
  • Distraction
  • Seatbelts

Police encourage all travelers to stop and have a break and stay alive. Australia is a great place to travel so why not take your time and take in the scenery of this great country. Christmas needs to be a happy time and not a time for tragic reminders for years to come.

Stay safe and drive responsibly.
