Police have met with youth from the Bundaberg community to discuss issues in the town concerning their generation and the issues that they face.
The meeting was used to brainstorm ideas to reduce youth crime through open dialogue and supportive strategies.
Police received some positive feedback from the youth stating that they felt safer in the CBD than they have in the past.
There was also open conversation about future youth activities that will encourage youth to get involved in positive programs.
