VIP National Volunteer WeekWe’re searching for Volunteers in Policing!

It’s a new year and your lifestyle may have changed, where you find you can spare a few hours, or a day each week, to assist your local police.

Could you volunteer some time? It could be:

  • After dropping children off at kindy or school
  • Now that year 12’s over and you’re staying local
  • To complement your TAFE/University studies
  • Before a weekly shopping trip
  • To contribute to your local community

Volunteers in Policing duties include:

  • Information stalls/displays
  • Media support
  • Property support
  • Letter box drops
  • Lock it or Lose it campaigns
  • Engaging with businesses/community groups
  • Crime prevention/reduction support and follow up

Community members aged 18 years and over are encouraged to consider applying.
