Do you know where your teens, pre-teens and young children are? Police have received information indicating that some of the below offences may have been committed by young people. Bundaberg police are currently investigating a number of wilful damage and break and enter offences which have occurred during these schools holidays:
Bundaberg Central State School
- Between 8:00pm on January 3 and 12:00am on January 4, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and used an item to smash a window. If you have any information which may assist police with this investigation, please contact Policelink and quote reference number QP1600020497.
- Between 3:00pm on December 4 and 10:00am on December 5, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and damaged lighting by pulling down fluro lights from a ceiling area and leaving wires exposed. Bundaberg North State School
- Between 12:00am and 11:55pm on January 1, it is alleged that offender/s have entered a school building by breaking a window and have stolen cans of soft drink. A window in another school building has also been smashed. Kolan South State School
- Between 5:30pm on December 11 and 09:00am on December 12, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and smashed a window and stolen a quantity of confectionery. Offender/s have attempted to access another room, although were unsuccessful. Moore Park State School
- Between 4:00pm on December 23 and 07:30am on January 4, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and damaged a shed by using a black substance to graffiti external walls. Thabeban State School
- Between 12:00pm and 22:30pm on December 27, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and removed four louvres from a hall area. If you have any information which may assist police with this investigation, please contact Policelink and quote reference number QP1501928563.
Walkervale State School
- Between 1:45pm and 2:00pm on January 3, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and damaged a glass door and a number of glass windows. Offender/s have also picked egg plants and thrown these. - Between 20:00pm on January 1 and 08:40am on January 2, it is alleged that offender/s have entered the school grounds and gained access to a hall area where property has been tampered with.
