That is, armed with information and alarmed for activation in your business. Over the past couple of days there has been an increase in armed robbery offences, which have impacted staff, employees and the business community.

CODE – A is information police have available for business owners and managers. This information is to be shared with staff at orientations, meetings, reviewing cash handling and security procedures, and addresses what businesses should do in the unfortunate case of being targeted.

In the lead up to Christmas, there is likely to be an increase in spending and also shoppers browsing to find the right gift. Again, a timely reminder for managers to read up on Armed Robbery Awareness and ensure your staff are familiar with procedures.
