Sergeant Mark Gawronski is the new Officer in Charge of Eidsvold Police and is keen to make his mark.
Together with his wife and four children, including a set of one year old twins, he recently embarked on a country change in Eidsvold.
Sergeant Gawronski said he has always enjoyed being a country police officer and being part of a small community.
“We decided to move to Eidsvold for a better work and family balance,” Sergeant Gawronski said.
Sergeant Gawronski joined the Queensland Police Service in 2003.
Before he joined the Service, he was working as a personal trainer with a degree in exercise science.
Whilst training a couple of police officers, they recommended he apply to join the QPS and as he says, “the rest is history.”
His general duties service include Brisbane, Mount Isa, McKinlay, Caloundra and Aramac.
A promotion to Sergeant meant time spent in both the Brisbane and Rockhampton Communication Centres.
Sergeant Gawronski is looking forward to meeting the locals so make sure you say hello.
