Did you make your road safety pledge?

Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services join together on Fatality Free Friday 2017 at Bundaberg Transport and Main Roads

Thank you to everyone who visited today to sign their road safety pledge.

There were some drivers that needed to slow down, stop and change their driving behaviour.

Our Bundaberg Road Policing Unit officers intercepted the following drivers:

  • At around 6.40am a 26-year-old Avoca man travelled at an alleged speed of 83km/h in a 60km/h zone along Takalvan Street, Bundaberg West. Consequence = $406 and four demerit points.
  • At around 7.10am a 54-year-old Moore Park Beach man travelled at an alleged speed of 71km/h in a 60km/h zone along Enterprise Street, Svensson Heights. Consequence = $162 and one demerit point.
  • At around 8.50am a 70-year-old Innes Park woman travelled at an alleged speed of 51km/h in a 40km/h zone along Branyan Street, Norville. Consequence = $162 and one demerit point.
  • At around 9.15am a 32-year-old Innes Park woman travelled at an alleged speed of 70km/h in a 60km/h zone along Burrum Street, Bundaberg West. Consequence = $162 and one demerit point.
  • At around 10.05am a 36-year-old Parrearra man travelled at an alleged speed of 92km/h in an 80km/h zone along Moore Park Road, Gooburrum. Consequence = $162 and one demerit point.
