This week is National Volunteer Week and a chance to say a special thank you to our volunteers across Bundaberg Patrol Group.
Thank you Alyssa, Annette, Antionette, Barry, Bev, Carla, Donna, Graeme, Graham, Janeen, Janet, Karl, Kathy, Mavis, Melanie, Shirley, Susan, Trish and Wendy.
Our Volunteers in Policing (VIPs) are also Very Important People who generously and willingly give their time to assist and complement the work of our police team.
VIPs are in our workplaces during the week and assisting at different times with varied duties.
A number of VIPs have recently been assisting Bundaberg Police Beat/Shopfront team and Crime Prevention Unit with increasing our relationship with the local business community.
VIPs will soon be busy preparing to assist at the upcoming Bundaberg Show.
We also thank the many volunteers involved in Neighbourhood Watch groups.
Volunteers take on roles including committee members, blockies and members.
You’ll also be able to meet NHW members at the Bundaberg Show on May 31 to June 2.
