A number of Traffic Infringement Notices (TIN) have been issued this week and due to the welcome wet weather, we’re reminding people to slow down and if it’s flooded – forget it!
Here is a snapshot of the various traffic infringements issued by our Road Policing Unit officers:
- On March 20 at around 3.20pm a 32-year-old Moore Park Beach man was intercepted by police on Adams Street, Bundaberg West for travelling at an alleged speed of 59km/h in a 40km/h school zone. Consequence = $243 and three demerit points.
- On March 20 at around 3.20pm a 44-year-old Thabeban man was intercepted by police on Alexandra Street, Bundaberg East for a fail to stop at ‘STOP’ sign at intersection offence. Consequence = $365 and three demerit points.
- On March 20 at around 8.05pm a 22-year-old Gooburrum man was intercepted by police on Maryborough Street, Bundaberg Central for a fail to drive within marked lane on multilane road offence. Consequence = $97.
- On March 21 at around 9.10am a 33-year-old Bundaberg South man was intercepted by police on Crofton Street, Bundaberg Central for a disobey ‘LEFT TURN’ sign offence. Consequence = $97 and three demerit points.
- On March 21 at around 9.40am a 30-year-old Bundaberg North man was intercepted by police on Electra Street, Bundaberg Central for a stop contrary to continuous yellow edge line offence. Consequence = $48.
- On March 21 at around 3.40pm a 59-year-old Gregory River man was intercepted by police on Bundaberg Ring Road, Kensington for a driver fail to wear seatbelt offence. Consequence = $365 and three demerit points.
