Drug offences, Bundaberg Patrol Group

Since February 1, police across Bundaberg Patrol Group have investigated drug related matters in the following areas:

  • Avenell Heights
  • Bargara
  • Branyan
  • Bucca
  • Bundaberg Central
  • Bundaberg East
  • Bundaberg North
  • Bundaberg West
  • Elliott Heads
  • Gin Gin
  • Kensington
  • Millbank
  • Thabeban

Some recent drug charges include:

Kensington: On February 8 at around 7am police from the State Flying Squad executed a search warrant at a Crow Street, Kensington address.

A 33-year-old Kensington man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used, and possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence. As a result of the search, police will allege they located a quantity of cannabis, drug utensils and property.

The man is scheduled to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on April 3.

Bundaberg Central: On February 3 at around 2.40pm, police were conducting enquiries when it is alleged a 15-year-old Avoca boy was found in possession of drug related items. He was subsequently charged with possessing drug utensils and pipes.

Branyan: On February 1 at around 9.30am police from Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a Pharlap Parade, Branyan address.  As a result of the search, police will allege they located a quantity of cannabis, drug utensils and property.

A 27-year-old Laidley man was charged with two counts of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used and one count each of producing dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs. The man is scheduled to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 17.

A 33-year-old South Kolan man was charged with one count of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used. The man is scheduled to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 17.

A 33-year-old Branyan man was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs. The man is scheduled to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 17.
