Since January 1, police are continuing to investigate a number of offences where vehicles were allegedly entered and property stolen.
Streets and suburbs affected include:
- January 13: Nicholson Street, Norville – street parking and unlocked vehicle. Property stolen – mobile phone.
- January 12: Svensson Street, Svensson Heights – drive way and unlocked vehicle. Alleged offenders disturbed.
- January 12: Burnett Street, Bundaberg South – carport and unlocked vehicle. Property stolen – medication, scripts, medical records.
- January 11: Johnston Street, Avoca – driveway and unlocked vehicle. Property stolen – personal documents and alcohol.
- January 9: Watson Street, Bundaberg South – driveway and unlocked vehicle. Property stolen – wallet and medication.
- January 8: Lovejoy Street, Avenell Heights – street parking and unlocked vehicle. Property stolen – cash, medication, personal documents.
- January 8: Duck Creek Road, Winfield – carport and locked vehicle. Property stolen from the rear tray of ute – large toolbox with anti-theft padlock.
- January 2: Bingera Street, Bundaberg West – sneak offence on boat. Property stolen from the boat cabin was a wallet containing cash and personal documents.
- December 24 – January 2: Spinnaker Boulevard, Innes Park – boat parked in a front yard. Property stolen – camping and fishing equipment.
Between January 1 and January 7, Bundaberg Child Protection Investigation Unit have interviewed young people who have now been dealt with according to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to stealing from motor vehicle offences which allegedly occurred on January 1.
