A School Based Police Officer or SBPO is attached to our Child Protection Investigation Unit. The officers work is predominantly based in a high school environment.
Officers support students at risk of offending, while encouraging school communities to adopt approaches that aid in crime prevention and proactive policing.
Bundaberg Patrol Group is fortunate to have two positions where Senior Constable Julie Jones is based at Bundaberg State High School, working part-time. Senior Constable Mark Cartner is based at Kepnock State High School working full-time and both officers also liaise with Bundaberg North State High School.
