Police are continuously investigating crime and over the past week a number of matters have been solved. Thank you to community members and businesses for providing valuable information to assist us.
- On January 25 Child Protection officers from Bundaberg Patrol Group dealt with six young people aged between 11 and 13 years, under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act. The young people were involved in entering with intent and wilful damage offences at a Blake Court, Thabeban residence on January 24.
- On January 25 an 18-year-old Walkervale man was arrested and charged following investigations into an alleged stolen motorcycle reported last week. The man was charged with two counts of burglary, one count each of fraud, stealing and contravene a domestic violence order. The man is scheduled to appear at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 22.
- On January 24 a 35-year-old Avenell Heights man was charged with one count of unauthorised dealing with shop goods and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 7.
- On January 23 a 37-year-old Calavos woman was arrested and charged following investigations into a burglary offence at Mulgrave Street reported last week. The woman was charged with one count each of burglary, fraud and attempted fraud. The woman is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on January 29.
- On January 20 a 27-year-old Walkervale man was arrested and charged following investigations into a stealing offence reported on January 18. The man was charged with one count of stealing and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 22.
- On January 20 a 23-year-old Laidley man and a 17-year-old Bundaberg West woman were issued a Notice to Appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court, following investigations into shop stealing.
- On January 19 two tourists aged 20 and 21 were arrested and charged following a shop stealing report. Both men were charged with one count of unauthorised dealing with shop goods and are scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 5.
- On January 19, detectives from Bundaberg Patrol Group executed a search warrant at a Barolin Street address where a motorcycle and other property allegedly stolen was located. A 45-year-old Thabeban man was arrested and charged with two counts of stealing, one count of possess property suspected stolen, one count of possess utensils and one count of burglary. The man is scheduled to appear at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 8.
