So how did you go on the first day back at school?
While it’s been a rainy start to the school year, did you stop at the right places?
Bundaberg Patrol Group officers remind you when stopping to say “Bye, enjoy your day and I love you” to your children, remember to:
- Think about the side and car door children will exit from. Is it the safe side closest to the kerb?
- Stop and drop off in your designated school areas, designed for the safety of children. These may be 2 minute zones to stop, drop off and go, similar to a quick moving taxi rank.
- Move and park away from where there is a continuous yellow line painted along the edge of the road. This means no parking or stopping here.
