Bundaberg Patrol Group thank the drivers who are drug and alcohol free when on our roads. It’s frustrating that impaired drivers aren’t showing the same respect for safe driving.
Our Road Policing Unit have recently highlighted the increase of drug driving incidents and the enforcement measures police use to keep these drivers off our roads.
These offences are being detected more frequently, thanks to the number of officers across the patrol group now trained in roadside drug testing and committed to keeping our roads trauma free.
Police urge motorists to remember the fatal five when driving.
