Sergeant Mark Gawronski has hit the ground running as Officer in Charge of Eidsvold.
This morning, he visited Abercorn State School which is 30 kilometres north of Eidsvold.
The school only has 18 students and two teachers.
Sergeant Gawronski said he used today, Day for Daniel, to get to know the schools and students in his division.
“I gave a talk about the significance of the day and we discussed recognise, react, report,” Sergeant Gawronski said.
“The children were very excited to see a police officer and they asked heaps of questions.”
The students are doing various activities throughout the day, including watching a safety video and making bunting with teacher, Tanya Neilson.
Thank you for making Eidsvold’s new top cop welcome!
