Across the Wide Bay Burnett District, we’re committed to ensuring policing services are accessible to all members of the community.

Police work closely with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) communities to develop partnerships, awareness and understanding of impacting issues.

For more information on this day click here.

The QPS LGBTI Liaison Program provides a professional, non-discriminatory and accessible policing service to members of the LGBTI communities.

A number of police are dedicated LGBTI liaison officers who can provide support and assistance to LGBTI community members when dealing with police matters.

If you wish to speak to an LGBTI liaison officer please advise the officer taking your complaint or contact Policelink on 131 444 who will identify a liaison officer in your local area.

For more information click here to email the Wide Bay and Burnett LGBTI program or visit our QPS site here.
