Stolen vehicles, Bundaberg Patrol Group

Between October 1 and November 1, police have received 16 reports involving unlawful use of motor vehicles or attempts made to steal a motor vehicle.

To date, eight of these offences have been solved.

Here is a snapshot of some offences that have occurred.

McCrohan Street, Avenell Heights: Between 4pm on October 1 and 8am on October 5, offender/s have attempted to steal a 2002 Nissan Patrol. Excessive damage to the ignition area allegedly occurred and the vehicle remained at its parked location. QP1601865633

Buss Street, Bundaberg North: Between 12pm on October 7 and 3pm on October 8, offender/s have allegedly entered a home and located keys to a 2007 Holden Commodore. The vehicle was allegedly stolen and was located by police in a damaged condition on October 12 at around 11.30pm. QP1601894304

Churchill Street, Childers: Between 6pm on October 9 and 9.20am on October 10, offender/s have allegedly stolen a 2001 Mitsubishi Challenger vehicle from a parked location. The vehicle was located in a burnt out condition on October 10 at around 11.30am at Booyal. QP1601898923

Please remove your valuables, lock your vehicle and park in a locked garage or clearly lit area where CCTV footage may be available.
