In August, four Bundaberg Patrol Group officers completed quad bike training in all terrain situations.
Officer in Charge of Bargara police Sergeant Matt Steinhardt informs us that the quad bike is an excellent resource for transporting officers and equipment to locations where cars are unable to go.
“The quad bike will be used mainly for land search and rescue jobs as well as national park and beach patrolling,” Sergeant Steinhardt said.
