Just remember the Bruce Highway will be closed for 12 hours from 5:30am to 5:30pm on Sunday, July 31 for the annual Childers Festival.
Bundaberg Patrol Group will be there, with colleagues from Wide Bay Burnett District and support from Brisbane.
This will be the first year we’ve had the Mobile Police Facility unit, which is easily identifiable and the first place you should visit!
It’s a must for those with children and family members who may become lost.
We’re asking parents and carers to take note of what their children are wearing that day and to provide a good description, in the case of a child becoming lost. Perhaps consider using a felt marker to write a mobile contact number on their inner arm, just in case.
There’s also the Australian Police Child ID app you can consider downloading to your smartphone.
We’ll have our souvenir fingerprint certificates, dress ups, activities and information on display and ready to engage with the community in both proactive and enforcement roles.
