AAC SC Karen McNish June 2016

Adopt a Cop Senior Constable Karen McNish with a Year 2 class

Adopt a Cop Senior Constable Karen McNish was invited to spend some time with a Year 2 class yesterday.

The students were learning about right from wrong and consequences for their actions. It was also a chance to check how well students knew about contacting police, fire or ambulance officers in an emergency.

Messages shared will filter through the school community and can also be used by other parents and carers.

Sharing is something that we encourage, although there are times this is not always okay. At a young age students need to understand that sharing their lunch food at school with other students could cause harm to a child’s health if that child has specific dietary requirements.

Parents and carers, please remind your children that the food you pack for school lunches is for them to eat. Sharing food can occur at classroom events when parents are aware and at birthday parties and fun times away from school.
