Police have charged two men following investigations into the burglary of a residence in Bundaberg this morning.
It will be alleged around 2.50am, two men entered the Kepnock Road residence before threatening an 87-year-old man with what appeared to be a firearm.
The pair allegedly stole the man’s wallet and car keys before leaving the scene in his vehicle, which has since been recovered.
A 18-year-old Bundaberg West man has been charged with one count each of robbery in company, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit an indictable offence, enter dwelling with intent, failing to stop motor vehicle and driving whilst disqualified.
A 17-year-old Kensington man has been charged with one count each of robbery in company, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit an indictable offence and enter dwelling with intent.
They will both appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court tomorrow.
