Traffic infringement notices across Bundaberg Patrol Group

Colleagues from Road Policing Command have been patrolling Bundaberg Patrol Group for the past week, with traffic infringement notices to be posted to a number of drivers for predominantly speeding offences.

When driving, stay focused and check your speedo to ensure you stay at or slightly below the zoned speed limit.

The alleged offences occurred in a relatively short time frame.

May 5

  • At approximately 4:10pm along the Bruce Highway, Isis Central the alleged speed travelled by a 47-year-old Booyal woman was 112km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence: $157 and 1 demerit point.
  • At approximately 4:02pm along Goodwood Road, Redridge the alleged speed travelled by a 17-year-old Redridge man was 132km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. The driver also allegedly failed to show legible red plates at front and rear of car. Consequences:  $549 and six demerit points; $188 and two demerit points.
  • At approximately 3:47pm along the Bruce Highway, Wallaville the alleged speed travelled by a 59-year-old Gin Gin woman was 112km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $157 and one demerit point.
  • At approximately 2:55pm along Gin Gin Mount Perry Road, Gin Gin the alleged speed travelled by a 39-year-old Moolboolaman woman was 117km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $235 and three demerit points.

May 3

  • At approximately 7:30pm along the Bruce Highway, Gin Gin a 61-year-old Jones Hill man had his National Driver Work Diary checked and allegedly failed to record information in a prescribed way. Consequence:  $158
  • At approximately 8:30am at Brickworks Circuit, Svensson Heights a 44-year-old Svensson Heights man had his National Driver Work Diary checked and allegedly failed to record information in a prescribed way. Consequence: $158

May 2

  • At approximately 3:23pm along the Bruce Highway, Takilberan the alleged speed travelled by a 61-year-old The Gap man was 114km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $235 and three demerit points.
  • At approximately 3:09pm along the Bruce Highway, Takilberan the alleged speed travelled by a 26-year-old Cooroy man was 123km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $392 and four demerit points.
  • At approximately 3:06pm along the Bruce Highway, Monduran the alleged speed travelled by a 23-year-old Kawana man was 121km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $392 and four demerit points.
  • At approximately 2:52pm along the Bruce Highway, Takilberan the alleged speed travelled by a 20-year-old Nikenbah woman was 116km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $235 and three demerit points.
  • At approximately 2:35pm along the Bruce Highway, Gin Gin a 21-year-old Gin Gin man allegedly used/permitted use of an unregistered motorcycle. Consequence:  $188
  • At approximately 2:13pm along the Bruce Highway, Wallaville the alleged speed travelled by a 57-year-old Coringa man was 118km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $235 and three demerit points.
  • At approximately 1:25pm along the Bruce Highway, Isis River the alleged speed travelled by a 19-year-old Westcourt man was 116km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. Consequence:  $235 and three demerit points.
