Early this morning police were conducting patrols along Barolin Street at Walkervale, when their attention was drawn to a Blue Holden Commodore utility bearing Queensland registration 800VGD.
Police attempted to intercept the vehicle on Barolin Street however it allegedly failed to stop, accelerating away and overtaking another motorist. Police abandoned the attempted intercept.
The vehicle was reportedly sighted at two stealing incidents this week: the first between 7am and 1.40pm on April 26 at Gavin Street, Bundaberg North, and the second at Goodwood Road, Thabeban between 11.50pm on April 27 and 12.10am on April 28.
Investigations are continuing.
