Cameras catch crime in Bundaberg

FA6AC950_71042388Bundaberg Police were able to solve an assault incident last week, thanks to witnesses and CCTV cameras covering the offence area and nearby locations.

The offence occurred around 10.10pm at a Bourbong Street address on April 5.

Police arrested and charged an 18-year-old Kepnock man on April 6 with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.

The man will appear at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on April 29.

This is another reminder that businesses can assist police in solving crime by installing CCTV cameras in appropriate areas and monitoring them regularly.
