Bundaberg Patrol Group officers have seized three credit card sized knives in February.
Colleagues in Moreton District seized over 600 of these weapons last week.
Offence details for Bundaberg are:
- February 26: Bundaberg Airport, Kensington at approximately 1:50pm. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
- February 23: Bourbong Street, Bundaberg Central at approximately 1:15am. A 25-year-old Avenell Heights man has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of weapons and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 4.
- February 13: Boundary Street, Bundaberg South at approximately 12:50am. A 21-year-old Thabeban woman has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of weapons and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 4.
Credit card knives are dangerous bladed weapons classified as a Category M weapon.

- Knives with single handed blade release
- Ballistic knife
- Butterfly knife
- Flick knife
- Push knife
- Sheath knife
- Star knife
- Trench knife
- Riding crop knife
- Walking stick sword
Possession of category M weapons require lawful authority and are subject to safe storage requirements.
