Here is a snapshot of some investigations Bundaberg Patrol Group officers have solved in the past week.
- On February 14 police executed a search warrant at a Mulgrave Street, Gin Gin address where it will be alleged drug related property and a restricted item were located. A 34-year-old Gin Gin man was charged with one count of possessing/acquiring restricted items and was eligible for drug diversion. The man is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 14.
- On February 14 a 28-year-old Bundaberg South man was arrested and charged with one count each of arson, wilful damage, possessing dangerous drugs and possess utensils. The man has appeared in Bundaberg Magistrates Court and has been remanded in custody to reappear on March 31.
- On February 13 police were called to a licensed venue due to an exchange of alleged dangerous drugs. Following investigations police arrested a 22-year-old male tourist from Labrador. The man was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 7.
- On February 13 police were conducting routine patrols along Bourbong Street where a 33-year-old Bundaberg East man was intercepted. It will be alleged the man was in possession of a dangerous drug and was arrested and charged for this offence. The man is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 7.
- On February 13 police intercepted a vehicle in Boundary Street, Bundaberg South where the driver was allegedly in possession of a knife. The knife was seized by police and a 21-year-old Thabeban woman was charged with one count of unlawful possession of weapons. The woman is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 4.
- On February 13 police intercepted a vehicle in Boundary Street, Bundaberg South where a 23-year-old Innes Park woman was allegedly in possession of drug related items. The woman was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs and possess utensils and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 4.
- On February 12 a 49-year-old Bundaberg South man was charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs and possess utensils following a search warrant executed at a McMannie Street address. The man is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on February 26.
- On February 12 two young people aged 10 and 11 years were each charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company. The offence details relate to an assault which allegedly occurred in Goodwood Road, Woongarra on February 11. Both young people have been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
- On February 11 a 26-year-old male tourist was charged with Drive without due care and attention. It will be alleged the man was driving on the wrong side of the road along Barolin Street where two vehicle drivers had to take evasive action to avoid a head on collision. The man is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on April 21.
- Three young people aged 11, 12 and 15 years have each been charged with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break. These charges result from investigations into a local business in Elliott Heads Road, Kepnock which became a victim on February 9. The young people have been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
