Acting Sergeant Cameron Graham and his police team at Bargara wish all motorists a safe and Merry Christmas this year on our roads. Road safety colleagues from Transport and Main Roads have also helped share the message with a visible message board located on Bargara Road.
The Fatal Five message is an important reminder to remember that speeding, drink and drug driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, driving whilst tired/fatigued and inattention affects everybody on our roads.
Acting Sergeant Cameron Graham says there have been too many serious crashes in the Bargara and Bundaberg Patrol Group divisions this year.
“We don’t want any more this Christmas period. It is up to all of us as a community to stop the carnage on our roads,” A/Sergeant Graham said.
Bargara Police will be increasing traffic patrols over the holiday period as part of a state wide traffic operation.
